Johnny Depp ain't no Pirate

"Bedtime stories from Jack Sparrow?? Amazing"

From Perez Hilton today:

"Johnny Depp has donated $2 million to the British hospital that treated his daughter when she was sick last year with kidney failure.

Last week, Depp invited doctors and nurses from the hospital to the London premiere of Sweeney Todd.

And, back in November, Johnny spent four hours at the hospital telling bedtime stories to patients dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow after having his Pirates Of The Caribbean costume flown over from Los Angeles.

Depp's daughter mysteriously got E.coli poisoning last year. She's doing well now."

Stephen Colbert vs. Barak Obama

"Stephen puts Obama on notice"

From IMDB news today:
"At the end of the show, Stewart segued to Stephen Colbert, who seemed to be caught feeding his script into a shredder, destroying any evidence that he might be breaking strike rules against writing his monologue. Later, Colbert remarked that Barack Obama had said he would not appear on his program during the strike but that he has said that he wanted to talk to the leaders of Iran, North Korea and Syria. "He'll talk to them," Colbert scolded, "but he won't talk to me?"
